Software maintenance can eat up 50-60% of a company’s technology budget, infuriating engineers, CFOs, and CEOs alike. We are fixing this problem. We’re looking for an exceptional sales professional to join our team.

Job description

You will drive sales and help build our business from the ground up. More specifically:

Immediately, you will:

  • Report to the CEO

  • Identify prospects

  • Craft effective outreach strategies

  • Draft outreach communication

  • Reach out and respond to prospects

  • Secure meetings/appointments for CEO and other team members  

  • Work closely with CEO, CTO, VP of Product and other team members to coordinate sales outreach, collateral, presentations, and demos

  • Document all activities in CRM system (Salesforce)

  • Influence sales, pricing, and product strategy

  • Develop and document objection handling talking points

As we achieve success, there will be opportunities to:

  • Contribute significantly to and learn a ton from building a company from the ground up

  • Build a sales team

  • Attend trade shows

  • Manage existing customers  

  • Secure and maintain customer references

  • Seek upsell opportunities

  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitive activities


First and foremost, you must be energetic, resilient, persistent, adaptable,  motivated, assertive, entrepreneurial, tech savvy, able to work virtually, and a continuous learner and exceptional business writer and communicator.

We will consider and adjust the level of responsibility and compensation for exceptional candidates with different levels of seniority and experience.

Junior candidates must be located in Baltimore, MD.

Senior candidates must have:

  • Previous role in technology sales

  • Track record of achieving sales quotas

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques

  • Track record of delivering engaging sales presentations

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Drive, and SmartSheets

  • BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant field
