Digital Advertising Sales Representative at Phantasy Tour

Contract Position

Phantasy Tour currently has a job opening for an experienced digital advertising sales representative. At Phantasy Tour, we develop applications that engage live music fans during and between events. Our business depends on the sale of digital advertising space on our platforms to clients looking to reach our highly sought after member community. Our clients include music promoters, festivals, bands, venues, recording labels and lifestyle product vendors. We are looking to hire an innovative-thinking and well-connected advertising sales consultant to professionalize and transform our marketing and sales capabilities and improve sales results. We are seeking a long term relationship with a candidate that will be a part of helping us grow.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a relationship with existing clients

  • Identify new clients, find out who controls the advertising budget and contact them

  • Develop promotional plans, sales strategies, sales literature, media kits, and sales contracts

  • Identify new advertising markets, and propose products to serve them

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising.

  • Find out who controls the advertising budget in target organizations and contact them

  • Persuade clients to buy advertising space on Phantasy Tour’s platforms

  • Explain the benefits of advertising on Phantasy Tour, using demographic and web traffic statistics

  • Offer a price and negotiate around it

  • Close the deal and record the details, including obtaining all admats, creatives and copy.

  • Manage a sales budget

Job Location

  • You must be US based and will be expected to work out of your home or our Baltimore office and travel occasionally to visit clients or attend industry events

Qualifications and Experience

  • College degree in business related field, preferably marketing

  • 2+ years proven experience in a sales revenue generation role

  • Ability to travel occasionally

  • Valid drivers license

  • Work independently without supervision

  • Excellent communication and people skills

  • Experience with Insightly a plus
