GOALS OF THE POSITION:

  • Enable and support the efficient operation of the Marketing team and all marketing initiatives
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are implemented, tracked, tested, analyzed and optimized
  • Contribute to close collaboration within the Marketing team and across departments
  • Ensure scalability of Marketing initiatives and improvement of internal processes
  • Ensure Straighterline is using most appropriate marketing technology solutions given the business need and budget considerations
  • Develop value enhancing relationship with existing marketing vendors
  • Help team achieve Marketing and company KPIs

TO ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS, THE BEST CANDIDATES WILL BE ABLE TO

  • Setup and integration of digital tools used to support Marketing efforts
  • Manage implementation of marketing initiatives (email marketing, marketing automation, A/B testing, promotional offer overlays, SEO, tag management, etc.)
  • Support operations of Marketing initiatives by maintaining audience/target lists, creating tracking URLS, tracking marketing assets, data integration, reporting, and ongoing Q&A
  • Execute testing and optimization efforts by working with Marketing leadership to establish testing methodologies, processes, implementation, monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Support CRM operations of the Enrollment and Student Support teams by maintaining workflows, permissions, and campaign tracking
  • Provide project management support for Marketing and cross-team initiatives
  • Create and collaborate with Data Analysis team to generate accurate, actionable reporting on Marketing initiatives
  • Conduct basic website updates utilizing the website CMS
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key marketing technology vendors
  • Evaluate new technologies/vendors to improve and optimize marketing deliverables
  • Contribute to company growth by supporting new team and corporate initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum three years directly relevant marketing operations experience
    • Experience in an ecommerce and or lead gen marketing environment is strongly preferred
    • Experience implementing, operating and tracking performance for email marketing and lead gen marketing campaigns; familiarity with Responsys or other robust Email Service Provider (ESP) a plus
    • Strong Microsoft excel skills (Reporting, Chart creation, Pivot, VLoopkups, etc)
    • Experience with reporting and data analysis
    • Familiarity with conversion optimization and A/B testing concepts; familiarity with a testing tool such as Optimizely preferred
    • Experience in marketing automation systems and CRM and integrating those systems with other technologies; familiarity with Zoho or Salesforce preferred
    • Experienced Google Analytics user and have the ability to set up custom reporting based on business needs. Google Analytics IQ certification is preferred
