Accredited Testing & Evaluation (AT&E) Team is looking for a Summer Intern to work onsite in Columbia, MD. AT&E comprises of two product testing laboratories testing commercial products to government security standards such as FIPS 140-2 Cryptographic Modules and Common Criteria. Leidos is one of the largest testing laboratories in both of these fields. A summer intern will support the AT&E team is setting up and maintaining lab test environments as well as developing testing tools to increase the efficiency of the testing process. A summer intern will also be exposed to security product testing by supporting testing activities such as physical and tamper evidence testing of hardware security products as well as source code review of software security products.

 

  • Develop and program test tools to aid in efficient security testing
  • Test environment set up
  • Lab equipment organization and infrastructure maintenance
  • Physical and tamper evidence testing of hardware security products
  • Source Code Review (such, as but not limited to, C, C++, Java)

     

Qualifications

  • Working on a BS in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering required
  • Some programming and basic network penetration experience preferred
  • Interest in the IT Security field
