Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, CRM and Campaign Analytics will report to the Senior Manager, Database Marketing and will be responsible for reporting, analyzing and optimizing the performance of targeted campaigns and CRM initiatives through the development of data driven insights. The Senior Analyst will leverage and evolve existing technologies and data sources to collect, compile, analyze and activate campaigns and associated segment health. This person should love thinking about the data needed to identify and measure customer journeys, segment audiences and campaigns – while working with email, customer and web traffic data to craft stories and make recommendations to the marketing team. Additionally, you have a demonstrated ability to translate business needs to the available data and can access or merge data through the use of tools such as SAS/SQL, Knime or R.


●Partner with Marketing to define campaign KPIs and develop weekly/monthly performance dashboards for weekly business review with team.

●Proactively monitor and analyze program and segment performance and provide recommendations for current and future program optimizations.

●Understand the POBL CRM database, campaign processes and structures to maximize speed to insight and ensure data integrity.

●Oversee and coordinate targeted campaign tracking in Silverpop, Salesforce and Google Analytics to ensure accuracy to campaign data in various platforms.

●Partner with stakeholders evolve the CRM program via predictive models, longitudinal contact strategy test, personalization and advanced segmentation.

●Build and maintain productive and trusting relationships with teammates to ensure CRM programs are designed and implemented collaboratively across the organization.

●Apply best practices in the area of lifecycle segmentation, program design and measurement in support of marketing strategy, program development and execution.

●Identify and recommend opportunities to increase our ‘speed to insight’ via streamlining data access, reporting, analysis and program activation.



●3-5 years of experience in CRM, email, direct marketing and campaign analysis – preferably, in a direct to consumer environment.

●Demonstrated experience manipulating and merging large transactional databases with SAS/SQL, Knime, R etc.

●Ability to review and interpret program metrics, draw conclusions and recommend immediate action.

●Strong history of making confident decisions and influencing key stakeholders across the organization.

●Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, derive consumer insights, identify market trends and translate into actionable marketing strategies

●A thorough understanding of customer segmentation, personalization strategies and test design with proven success improving conversion and retention of customers.

●Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity.

●Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce preferred), and web analytic platform such as Google Analytics, Adobe preferable, but not necessary.
